Finally, I have found some slippers that allow room for my high instep as well as wide feet. They fit beautifully and are warm and comfortable. The only "issue" is that the part around the ankle is a little high and I have to ensure that I do not do the velcro too tight as the felt can rub a little. However, I think wearing them will soften them up a little and this will become less of a problem.
