These work really well around water ie. not slippery when wet. the webbing is really comfortable and the only slight negative in that unlike a rubber strap, once wet, it stays wet. Not a big deal but something to be aware of if transitioning from water to dusty space eg. shower block back to campsite. I have wide toes so look to a wide fit and these are good. I did go down a size from my normal size as they were too long. Easy return and chalked up the return cost to 'education'. I now know my Gumbies size :)
